New My Fast Ferry Smartcards are now available

Earlier this month, we switched over to a new My Fast Ferry Smartcard – replacing both the older version we’ve had in circulation since 2009 and the ‘MyFastFerry’ ticketing app.

The new Smartcard offers discounted fares on our fast ferry services and allows you to manage top–ups in real-time via our website or the new ‘My Fast Ferry’ mobile app, which replaces our current timetable app ‘MFF Info’.

We also introduced a Child/Youth Smartcard for those aged 4 to 15 years, or up to 18 years with an active student ID card.

How to get your new card

The new My Fast Ferry Smartcard can be collected from any of our sales staff at Manly and Circular Quay wharves, or from crew members on board our vessels. A minimum initial top–up amount of $25 applies. Your new Smartcard will come with a handy guide that will help you through the quick card activation process.

Using your old Smartcard

You can continue using your current My Fast Ferry Smartcard until the balance runs out. Once this happens, you’ll be asked to switch to the new My Fast Ferry Smartcard.

Head to myfastferry.com.au/new-smartcard for more information on these changes.
